The 150th Year Begins

Two exciting dates mark the beginning of our 150th Year Celebration.  Come August 14th to drop off student supplies in classrooms from 9:45 - 10:15, attend the opening worship and installation of our new first grade teacher and our interim principal at 10:30, and then enjoy food and fellowship after church.  What a great way to reconnect our school community!

Then on August 17th school begins at 8:00 A.M.  Parents have a chance to informally talk with our interim principal from 10:30 - 11:10, and then our first chapel service of the year begins at 11:15.  Dismissal for all  students is at noon.

First Place Again

In the 10:30 worship service on July 31st we will celebrate the years of service that Mrs. Huske gave to St. John's School.  After the service the celebration will continue with an appetizer potluck.  Share your favorite appetizer and thank Mrs. Huske for the work she has done.

St. John's is now accepting appointments for tours of the school.  Call 847-741-7633 and schedule a personal tour that will show you all the wonderful advantages of learning in this school community.

State Track Qualifiers

St. John's has four middle school girls who have qualified for the Lutheran Sports Association State Track meet to be held at Concordia University Chicago on May 21 and 22.  Our athletes will compete in the shot put and the 4 X 100 relay.  What a wonderful accomplishment and an exciting opportunity!
