Lutheran Schools Week

The first week in March is set aside to celebrate Lutheran Schools. This year, our theme is “A New Creation in Christ: Friendship, Knowledge, Faith”. We have a full slate of activities planned for the school. Here is a brief summary:

Sunday, March 2

10:30am service – Grades 1-4 sing, Middle school handbells ring and grades 5-6 play recorders. The school faculty will serve coffee between services.

Monday, March 3

Sports Team Day – wear your favorite team clothes and colors. Special gym activities planned.

Tuesday, March 4

Class unity Day – Each class chooses how to dress. All school picnic in gym.

Wednesday, March 5

Crazy Socks/Sunglasses Day – Special activities with chapel buddies.

Thursday, March 6

Spirit Day – Blue & Gold – Special classroom activities.

Friday, March 7

Dress Up Day – How nice can you look?
Grandparents/Special Friends Day - ½ Day full of special activities
for students and their Grandparents or Special Friends, including:
8:00-9:00 Breakfast in the gym
    Book fair will also be open in the All Purpose Room
9:00 - Chapel – children sit with special guests
9:45 - Classroom Time with special guests
11:30 - Dismissal
